Simon Hart is passionate about building and joined the construction industry in Johannesburg in the early eighties. Following the birth of his two sons, he and his wife Janice decided to relocate their family and business interests to Plettenberg Bay in 1996.
Janice oversees the No Fuss office, allowing Simon to remain very much ‘hands-on’, despite over 30 years experience in the business. The company has successfully completed more than 100 builds in The Bay.
The company’s commitment to quality, innovation and value for money has seen it weather the bad times and grow through the good times, investing in both staff training and specialist machinery along the way.
As the business has grown, so has the typical size and value of projects undertaken. Along side the projects of R30m plus the business still regularly takes on more modest builds.
Simon remains one of life’s enthusiasts, and is still excited by what he does. He is always looking for new challenges; whether resolving the construction of a 65 meter long cast in-situ tapered vaulted roof, picking up the reins of a problematic abandoned project and seeing it through to successful completion, or conquering the logistical trials of a development project of 11 houses in less than 40 weeks.
